Job summary

The Recruiting Hive seeks an experienced physician-leader to provide clinical and administrative leadership for urology services in a clinic and hospital setting in Alabama. You will oversee a full spectrum of urologic procedures, deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, and participate in call coverage and emergency services.

You will collaborate with hospital administration on scope-of-services, equipment planning, workflow optimization, and standardization of care pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience leading urology programs in clinic or hospital settings.
• Ability to coordinate inpatient and outpatient urologic services.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with quality metrics and outcomes tracking.
• Strong policy and procedure development skills.
• Track record in strategy, planning and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for urology services within the clinic and hospital.
• Oversee a full spectrum of urologic procedures including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open cases.
• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient urologic care.
• Participate in call coverage and emergency urologic services.
• Collaborate with clinic administration on scope of services, equipment planning, workflow optimization, and care pathways.
• Lead multidisciplinary approach to patient care with primary care, oncology, nephrology, and surgical teams.
• Establish and monitor quality and outcome metrics to ensure high standards of care.
• Identify and address clinical and operational issues affecting medical staff.
• Maintain strong referral relationships with community physicians and regional providers.
• Support development and expansion of the urology service line and participate in strategic planning.
• Contribute to financial and operational oversight, including resource utilization and program performance.
