Job summary

Central Ohio Urology Group in Indiana is seeking a qualified urology physician to join a fast-growing practice with strong referrals and an existing patient base. You will diagnose, treat, and manage urology patients, while collaborating with APPs to support production and patient care.

Qualifications

• Hold Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) and valid license to practice medicine (Urology).
• Have completed the required medical training and residency programs with proven experience of quality care to patients.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Computer Skills: thorough knowledge in computer information systems.

Responsibilities

• Take a patient’s medical history
• Update charts and patient information to show current findings and treatments
• Order tests for nurses or other healthcare staff to perform
• Review test results to identify any abnormal findings
• Recommend and design a plan of treatment
• Address concerns or answer questions that patients have about their health and well-being
• Help patients take care of their health by discussing topics such as proper nutrition and hygiene.
• In addition, surgeons operate on patients to treat urology injuries, diseases, or deformities.
• May be asked to participate in development of Associated Medical Professionals policies and procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
