Job summary

The Physician Assistant (PA) provides comprehensive urology care across inpatient and outpatient settings in a high-volume surgical practice at Baylor Scott & White Health - Urology in Fort Worth, TX, including clinic evaluation, hospital rounding, perioperative support, and call coverage.

Under physician supervision with prescriptive authority, the PA manages acute and chronic genitourinary conditions, performs histories and exams, orders and interprets tests, assists in the OR, and educates

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Less than 1 year of experience; exposure to urology, surgical services, or inpatient care preferred.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in Texas; NCCPA certification required; eligible for TX prescriptive authority; BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive PA care across inpatient and outpatient urology settings.
• Assist in operating room and perioperative care; manage pre/post-operative patient needs.
• Order and interpret labs/imaging; develop and adjust treatment plans; educate patients and families.
