Albany Medical Center’s Department of Urology is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a busy general urology practice in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The role focuses on outpatient urologic care with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Qualificações

• New York State license and active registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience with electronic medical records; Epic experience a plus.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure patient-centered care.
• Commitment to HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage general urology patients.
• See scheduled and same-day urgent add-ons (hematuria, UTIs, stones).
• Perform in-office procedures including testosterone and Eligard injections.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care.
• Order and interpret diagnostics and document in the EHR.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, nursing staff, and admin.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
