Job summary

Affiliated Urologists Ltd in Phoenix/Scottsdale is seeking a Physician Assistant to deliver comprehensive urologic care on a full-time, on-site basis. You will conduct patient assessments, histories, and exams, assist in diagnosing and managing conditions under physician supervision, and perform in-office procedures.

You will order tests, interpret results, prescribe medications, educate patients, and coordinate follow-up to ensure continuity of care within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license (or eligibility) in Arizona and NCCPA certification.
• Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and performing office-based procedures, preferably in urology or a related specialty.
• Strong documentation, accuracy in charting, and adherence to regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and delivering clear, compassionate patient education.
• Ability to manage a full patient schedule in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
• Prior experience in urology, surgery, or outpatient specialty care is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, obtain medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and assist in diagnosing and managing urologic conditions under physician supervision.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform in-office procedures as permitted, prescribe medications, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide patient education, counseling on disease management and preventive care, and coordinate follow-up visits for continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize clinic workflow, maintain detailed documentation, and uphold safety standards.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
