Careerwebsite is seeking a Locums Pediatric Urology Physician in El Paso, Texas for call-only coverage with light rounding and consult volume. In this role you will provide inpatient pediatric urology coverage with RN support and no resident supervision responsibilities.

The position offers airfare and lodging, rental car and mileage, and flexible scheduling to fit your calendar. Board-certified in Urology, MD or DO, with an active Texas license and ACLS/BLS/PALS are required.

• Active Texas medical license required
• ACLS, BLS and PALS required

Responsibilities

• Provide call-only inpatient pediatric urology coverage with light rounding and consult volume
• No advanced practice or resident supervision responsibilities
• In-house and pager call with 1–2 callbacks per 24-hour shift
• RN support for inpatient pediatric urology cases

Highlights

• Approximately 2 rounding patients per week
• Approximately 2-3 consults per week
• No supervision responsibilities

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient pediatric urology with RN support
• Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
• Pediatric and neonatal urology with advanced pediatric surgery preferred
• Broad endoscopic, laparoscopic, stone, reconstructive, and robotic procedures preferred

Schedule

• Call-only coverage
• In-house and pager call
• Approximately 1-2 callbacks per 24-hour shift

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board certification in Urology required
• Active Texas medical license required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
