Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Urology Physician for locum tenens support in Minnesota, with an ASAP start. The role involves outpatient clinic duties on Mon/Wed/Fri 8:30 AM–4:30 PM and OR time Tue/Thu 7:30 AM–4:30 PM in a mixed outpatient and operating room setting.

Candidates should be Board Certified/Board Eligible with BLS and ACLS, and hold Minnesota license or be eligible for IMLC. Credentialing typically takes 45–60 days.

Qualifications

• Board certified/board eligible in urology.
• Minnesota license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact candidates may be considered.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient urology care in a clinic and perform operating room procedures as scheduled.
• Manage adult urology cases including kidney stones, prostate, bladder, and urinary tract conditions.
• Coordinate with Epic EMR for documentation and ensure credentialing timelines of 45–60 days.

This facility is seeking a Urology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Clinic Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM. Operating room Tuesday and Thursday, typically 7:30 AM–4:30 PM.

Practice Setting: Outpatient urology clinic and operating room.

Types of Cases: Adult urology, including kidney stones, blood in the urine, prostate conditions, bladder conditions, and urinary tract procedures.

Credentialing Timeframe: 45–60 days.

Electronic Medical Record: Epic.

Certifications Required: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Licensure Required: Minnesota license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact candidates may be considered.
