Job summary

Mission Health's Mission Urology group on the flagship Asheville campus and regional facilities seeks a Physician to join its established practice. The role includes hospital rounding, outpatient clinic duties, and robotics-assisted surgery in a state-of-the-art program.

Qualified candidates should be BC/BE in Urology by ABU; practicing physicians preferred with robotics training a plus. Employed position with generous clinical support and benefits is offered.

• Robotics training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urology care at Mission Health's flagship campus in Asheville and regional facilities.
• Rounding on inpatients and conducting consults in a hospital setting.
• Clinic responsibilities include seeing new and follow-up patients and triaging calls.
• Participate in a shared call schedule among physicians and APPs.

Job Summary: Mission Urology, a well-established practice servicing all of Western NC, is seeking a Physician to join their group on Mission Health’s flagship campus in Asheville as well as additional regional facilities/clinics.

Qualified Candidates:

• BC or BE in Urology via the American Board of Urology
• Practicing physicians preferred; new graduates completing fellowship training evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Robotics training preferred

Positions Highlights:

• State-of-the-art care for patients, including robotic surgery
• Urologic cancer care, kidney-stone treatment, female incontinence, and pelvic surgery
• Clinic Hours - Monday – Friday; 8am – 5pm
• Hospital work includes rounding on inpatients and consults
• Clinic responsibilities include seeing new and follow-up patients as well as triaging calls
• Fully staffed - Call shared among 6 - 3 Physicians / 3 APPs
