Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston is recruiting a Physician Assistant to join our Urology team. You will work with urologists and advanced practitioners to care for patients across General Urology, Urologic Oncology, FMPRS and Men's Health in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Onboarding includes a structured program of 6 months with potential for 12 months to ensure competency before independent practice; strong focus on patient-centered care and collaboration within EPIC clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited School of Physician Assistant Studies.
• Certification through the NCCPA.
• Current Physician Assistant licensure by the Texas State Medical Board.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations on patients.
• Provide autonomous ongoing care across General Urology, Urologic Oncology, FMPRS and Men’s Health.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including laboratory tests and imaging.
• Screen patients to assess need for escalated care or hospital admission.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation within EPIC.
• Assist surgeons in the operating room for urologic procedures, including robotic-assisted cases.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and counseling; provide post-operative follow-up.
• Conduct virtual/telehealth visits for appropriate patient populations.
• Perform and develop proficiency in office-based procedures (PTNS, Testopel, Foley changes, biopsies, cystoscopy).
• Pessary fitting and maintenance for female pelvic floor conditions.
