Job summary

Mohawk Valley Health System in New York seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Urology team in a full-time role. You will perform patient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, provide consultations, and coordinate follow-up care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP program or certification from an accredited NP program or completion of an accredited PA program.
• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license or NYS Physician Assistant license with prescriptive privileges.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Knowledge of a wide range of clinical areas and ability to meet credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and provide diagnoses and treatments.
• Perform consultations and coordinate follow-up care.
• Coordinate care with the urology team across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Support rotating hospital coverage and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is currently seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Urology team. This full-time position will provide the opportunity to offer comprehensive urologic care across both inpatient, and outpatient settings. Responsibilities will include patient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, consultations, follow up care, and coordination with the urology team. This position includes rotating hospital coverage allowing for further collaboration with MVHS’s experienced and multidisciplinary team. Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.
• Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.
• Familiar with EHR/EMR software.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

REQUIRED:

• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
• Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.

PREFERRED:

• Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
