Job summary

Spokane Urology PS is seeking a Medical Assistant Lead to support urological services in a fast-paced office in Spokane, WA. You will perform both administrative and clinical tasks and lead a team of assistants to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires MA program completion with BLS, clinic experience (urology preferred), and strong organizational skills. You will train staff, assist physicians, and maintain accurate medical records in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA program graduate preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or registration preferred; BLS certification required.
• One year of clinic experience; urology experience desired and lead experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead administrative and clinical duties under supervision and coordinate patient scheduling.
• Train new Medical Assistants and act as office lead in the supervisor's absence.
• Greet patients, measure vitals, update medical history and assist with exams.
• Perform phlebotomy, basic lab tests, prepare for procedures and assist physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and manage room turnover.
