Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support licensed practitioners and assist in patient care across an assigned clinic. The MA II will perform all MA I duties and follow established policies and procedures in a patient-focused environment.

Our team emphasizes understanding, commitment, and mutual respect in delivering compassionate care. Qualified candidates bring hands-on clinical training or apprenticeship, plus certifications such as WA MA Cert and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• At least one year of work experience as a medical assistant with vitals, injections, and meds.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS from American Heart Association.
• 6 months healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.
