Job summary

AdventHealth Medical Group Urology at LITTLETON & PORTER Campuses seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical operations in a growing urology setting in Littleton, CO. You will work under supervision to schedule, room patients, and assist physicians with exams and procedures.

Requirements include high school graduation, 2+ years of related experience, BLS, and a medical assistant certification from approved bodies.

Qualifications

• Vital signs performed as part of routine patient assessments.
• Knowledge of infection control and body substance isolation.
• Specimen collection as part of patient care and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physician schedules and organize patient care to ensure timely visits.
• Room patients, take vital signs, document history and allergies.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures, maintain communication for quality care.
• Administer medications as directed and maintain competency through training.
• Audit tests for timely receipt and follow-up of results.
• Maintain nursing supplies and equipment, report needs to leadership.
• Lead front-line staff in daily clinic operations and patient flow.
• Delegate duties, manage operational issues, ensure regulatory and billing standards.
• Coordinate with teams to implement best practices and maintain high care standards.
