Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Northwest seeks a licensed practical nurse to provide nursing and administrative support in an ambulatory clinic setting in Oregon. You will work under clinician supervision, perform focused triage, document in the EMR, and help prepare patients for visits and procedures.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program; Oregon LPN license within 6 months; BLS; and preferred 2+ years in ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (Oregon) within 6 months of hire; Basic Life Support.
• Two years of nursing experience in ambulatory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with direct and indirect patient care in an ambulatory setting.
• Perform nursing tasks and triage under RN/clinician supervision.
• Document in electronic medical record using KP HealthConnect and standard SBAR/SOAP/APIE methods.
• Maintain patient schedule and coordinate tests, referrals, and follow-up activities.
