Job summary

MPLT Healthcare is seeking a Urology locum in Tacoma, WA. The candidate will cover clinic several days per month, with 24-hour on-call and APP support, alongside OR time as needed. Epic EMR experience is preferred and WA or IMLC licensure is required.

The role emphasizes flexibility and competitive weekly pay, with pre-paid travel/housing and dedicated credentialing support provided by MPLT Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must hold WA or IMLC license to practice in Washington state.
• Certifications include ACLS, ABLS, BLS and PALS as required.
• Epic EMR experience is preferred and will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Urology clinic coverage for Tacoma, WA with 10–12 days per month.
• On-call duties 24 hours (0700–0700) with APP back-up support.
• Schedule clinic days (3 full days/week) and average 2 OR block days per month.
• Perform in-office cystoscopies, fusion biopsies, bladder biopsy and UDS testing.

MPLT Healthcare is looking for Physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Urologist with highly competitive pay rates in Tacoma, WA.

• Epic EMR
• 24 hour call 0700-0700.
• The locum would be the only Urology provider on call, with APP back up support.
• 10-12 days a month, that can help with clinic, scheduled OR time, and take call.
• Clinic is staffed with1 MD, and 3 PA-Cs, 1 RN, and 8 MA staff
• Candidate would be expected to have 3 full clinic days (1/3 would be in office procedure days), and averaging 2 days for OR block time.
• Clinic hours are from 730-4 Monday-Friday, in office procedures consist of cystoscopies, fusion biopsies, bladder biopsy, UDS testing, etc.
• Call for the month varies but most take 3-4 days a month
• BC,ACLS, ABLS, BLS and Pals is required
• Must have WA or IMLC license only
