Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse for our Urology Clinic to provide direct and indirect patient care under established standards. You will participate in nursing assessments, promote teamwork across departments, and uphold Southeast Health policies in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The successful candidate will hold an Alabama LPN license, BCLS, and complete the clinic pharmacology exam, with a day shift and full-time equivalent.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Alabama nursing license.
• BCLS certification (current).
• Successful completion of Southeast Health pharmacology exam.
• Computer literacy.
• Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Render direct and indirect patient care in support of medical care.
• Contributes to nursing assessment.
• Promote positive relationships and teamwork among employees and between departments.
• Responsible and accountable for own clinical practice, as well as the quality and quantity of nursing care given to patients by nursing personnel.
• Follow established standards of care and Southeast Health policies.
