Job summary

St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our outpatient Urology Clinic. This full-time, day-shift role emphasizes patient-centered care in a physician-practice environment.

You will work with physicians and staff to prepare patients, document histories and vitals, assist with procedures, and ensure accurate EMR entries. Ideal candidates have a current LPN license and BLS certification, with prior outpatient clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing.
• Current State LPN license.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• One year of experience as an LPN, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient urology clinic.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and office-based procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other clinical information.
• Administer medications and treatments within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assist providers with procedures, specimen collection, patient education, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records while collaborating with providers and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Shifts Available: Day Shift

Hours: 8-hour shifts- 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (Monday through Friday)

Location: St. Joseph Medical Center- Kansas City, MO

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Urology Clinic team. In this outpatient role, the LPN works closely with physicians, providers, and clinical staff to support high-quality, patient-centered care.
