Job summary

Bronson Urology and Continence Specialists in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to see adult patients under physician oversight. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays and no call obligation.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of patient care experience as an APP and current Michigan licensure. Relocation, CME stipend and a sign-on bonus are offered along with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current unrestricted or pending Licensure in Michigan.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• See clinical patients for new and follow up appointments with physician oversight.
• Coordinate care with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate progress towards outcomes.
• Perform initial assessments and determine need for higher level of care or transfer.
• Assist in Utilization Review and discharge planning.
• Maintain documentation for billing, medical care and orders.
