WakeMed Physician Practices in Raleigh, NC seeks a Pediatric Urology physician with BE/BC and fellowship training to join our multi-specialty group. The candidate will provide inpatient care at WakeMed Children's Hospital and outpatient services across ambulatory settings, with operative cases at WakeMed Raleigh and affiliated centers.

The role offers a strong teaching component, supervising Urology residents and medical students, and a competitive compensation package with base salary plus

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Pediatric Urology is required.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Urology is expected.
• Experience supervising residents and medical students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care at WakeMed Children's Hospital in Raleigh, NC.
• Deliver outpatient services across ambulatory settings; perform pediatric urology procedures.
• Supervise Urology residents and medical students in clinical teaching.

WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 500 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. We are currently seeking physicians with an interest and fellowship training in Pediatric Urology to join our group in Raleigh, NC. Our team currently consists of 2 Pediatric Urological Physicians and 1 APP. We are partnered with 12 General Urologists and 4 Pediatric Surgeons. Our physicians provide inpatient care at WakeMed Children's Hospital in Raleigh, NC as well as outpatient services in various ambulatory settings. Operative cases are done at WakeMed Raleigh and surgical centers, with optional time in our pediatric ambulatory Sedation Suite. Fantastic opportunity for those who have an interest in clinical teaching as our physicians also supervise Urology residents and third and fourth-year medical students. Qualified candidates must be BE/BC.
