Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s Department of Urology seeks a full-time Urologist to join a new practice at Forbes Hospital, serving Pittsburgh’s eastern suburbs. You will work with AHN urologists, enjoy immediate patient volume, a diverse case mix, and growth opportunities across a large service area.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of urologic conditions.
• Perform a broad range of procedures including prostatectomy, cystectomy, bladder tumor resections, nephrectomy, and urodynamic testing.
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgical technology.
• Develop or expand subspecialty interests in urologic oncology, stone disease, BPH, reconstructive urology, men’s health, and female pelvic medicine.

Clinical Responsibilities & Opportunities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of urologic conditions.
• Perform a broad range of procedures, including prostatectomy, cystectomy, bladder tumor resections, nephrectomy, and urodynamic testing.
