Job summary

Global Medical Staffing seeks a Urologist for locum tenens coverage in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves a 7 on/7 off schedule with 24-hour shifts, treating adult, pediatric, and neonate patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include general, pediatric and adult urology procedures, advanced laparoscopic, endoscopic and oncologic techniques, plus percutaneous nephrolithotomy and ureteroscopy. Call duties are 1:1 with ~5 consultations per day.

Qualifications

• Urologist with suitable licensure to practice in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• 7 on / 7 off rotation — 7 am to 7 am (24-hour shifts).
• Approx. 10 patients per shift.
• Inpatient and outpatient practice setting.
• Beeper call — 1:1 ratio, 20-min response, ~5 phone consults per 24 hrs.
• Adult, pediatric, and neonate populations treated (preferred).
• General, adult, and pediatric urology procedures required.
• Advanced procedures required — laparoscopic, endoscopic, and oncologic.
• Percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, and radical surgeries required.
