Job summary

CompHealth has been connecting healthcare providers with communities since 1979, and now offers weekday inpatient coverage with a focus on general and adult urology (pediatric urology preferred). The role includes ureteroscopy, advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic skills, in an inpatient hospital setting.

We handle credentialing and privileging, provide complimentary housing and travel arrangements, and offer comprehensive malpractice coverage, so you can focus on patient care while we manage

Qualifications

• General and adult urology required -- pediatric urology preferred.
• Ureteroscopy required -- advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic skills preferred.
• Experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weekday inpatient coverage from Monday 7 am to Friday 7 am.
• Average call volume: 4 phone consults, 7 patients seen, 1 admission per 24 hours.
• Ongoing coverage potential with housing, travel, and malpractice coverage arranged by us.

• 5 patients per shift with rounding on unassigned patients
• Inpatient hospital setting
• Avg call volume -- 4 phone consults, 7 patients seen, 1 admission per 24hrs
• General and adult urology required -- pediatric urology preferred
• Ureteroscopy required -- advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic skills preferred
• Ongoing coverage potential
• Adult population required -- pediatric preferred, neonate not required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
