Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join the Urology Hospitalist team in Winston-Salem, NC. The role is inpatient only, with no clinic duties, in a 7-on/7-off schedule and approximately 30 patients per day.

The position is supported by APPs, dedicated OR time, and system-wide EPIC EMR with access to robotics. The practice offers a competitive salary, malpractice coverage, comprehensive medical benefits, relocation allowance, and CME allowance.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Fellowship training in the physician's specialty if applicable.
• Current MD license in the appropriate state.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient urology care as part of the hospitalist team.
• Perform consults, procedures and surgeries for inpatients.
• Assist in managing inpatients from the office-based group and coordinate with APPs.

Novant Health Surgical Institute is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible urologist to join their established team providing inpatient care in a Urology Hospitalist role. The position is inpatient only performing consults, procedures, surgeries, and assisting in the management of inpatients from the office-based group. No clinic responsibilities. Alternating 7 on/7off block schedule with an average patient volume of 30 patients between rounding and consults. No overnight call. Practice is supported by system-wide EMR-EPIC and provides easy access to robotics.

Additional Position Highlights:

• Inpatient Urology service is a consultation only service and the inpatients are admitted by the medical hospitalist service
• FMC is a 900-bed hospital with ~100 ED beds, > 120,000 ED visits annually
• Position is currently supported by APPs
• Position is supported by dedicated OR block time
