We are seeking a board-certified Urologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of urologic conditions affecting patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach to care. This role includes both outpatient consultations and surgical procedures in multiple locations in the Tampa, Florida area.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage conditions related to the kidneys, bladder, urethra, and male reproductive organs.
- Perform common urologic procedures such as cystoscopies, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, stone treatments, and other outpatient or surgical interventions.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as cystoscopies, urodynamics, and imaging studies.
- Manage conditions including kidney stones, incontinence, urinary tract infections, prostate issues, and cancers of the bladder, kidneys, and prostate.
- Perform urologic surgeries including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.
- Prescribe and monitor medications and nonsurgical treatments.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, oncologists, nephrologists, and other specialists as needed.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certified in Urology.
- Completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
- Valid medical license (or ability to obtain) in the state of Florida.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care.
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of post-residency clinical practice (new grads welcome to apply).
- Experience with robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic).
- Fellowship preferred in subspecialties such as urologic oncology, endourology, or female urology.
