Job description

UVA Community Health Medical Group is seeking a General Urologist to join and help grow a robust community-based urology program serving Manassas, Haymarket, and Warrenton. This opportunity is designed for a physician who values broad-scope urology practice, strong community relationships, and the ability to shape local urologic services.

The position is focused on delivering accessible, high-quality urologic care close to home, meeting strong and increasing demand across these growing communities.

  1. Established community urology presence with plans for continued expansion
  2. Broad general urology practice with a mix of clinic, procedures, and surgery
  3. Opportunity to build long‑term patient relationships and a strong referral base
  4. Close collaboration with primary care and community-based specialists
  5. Ability to influence service development, workflows, and care delivery at the local level

Practice & Team Environment
  1. Existing general urology coverage with access to subspecialty consultation as needed

Clinical Responsibilities
  1. Outpatient urology clinic
  2. Inpatient and outpatient surgical care
  3. Diagnosis and management of common urologic conditions, including:
    1. BPH and voiding dysfunction
    2. Kidney stone disease
    3. Hematuria and urinary tract conditions
    4. Men's & Women's health concerns
  4. Mix of clinic, hospital, and OR responsibilities
  5. Shared call coverage within the community urology team
Technology & Ancillary Services
  1. Modern, recently renovated clinic space
  2. Access to outpatient surgery centers and hospital-based ORs
  3. Diagnostic and procedural resources to support comprehensive general urology care
Candidate Qualifications
  1. Board-certified or board‑eligible in Urology
  2. Interest in community-based urology practice
  3. Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
  4. Strong communication and collaboration skills
  5. Desire to contribute to and grow a robust urology program

The base compensation range for this role is $467,680 - $662,086 for a 1.0 clinical FTE status.

Individual compensation will be determined by fair market value and the selected candidate's qualifications, clinical experience, specialty training, credentials, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs, such as productivity, quality, non-productivity, or other incentives that may be available for eligible positions.
