Job summary

Mount Sinai South Nassau in Long Island, NY is seeking a full-time Urogynecologist to join our Ob/Gyn team and advance patient-centered care. The role includes teaching and performing urogynecology procedures in hospital settings, with strong emphasis on collaboration in a major academic medical system.

The successful candidate will be board certified/board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology, have or obtain NY licensure, and complete a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
• New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA.
• Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery completed.
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students and residents by lecture, rounds, and clinical activity.
• Provide Urogynecology care, including ambulatory care and hospital-based surgery.
• Document and review patient charts; perform related administrative duties.
• Participate in teaching, research, service and academic advising.
• Collaborate with health-system colleagues and support career development.
