Job summary

Ferring is seeking a Field Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to advance Uro-Oncology/Bladder Cancer initiatives in the US Northeast. You will build relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers to support education and research opportunities, traveling to sites as needed.

Responsibilities include providing unbiased information on bladder cancer, supporting Phase IV studies and IITs, training field teams, reporting adverse events, and staying current with developments.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (D.V.M., M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D) in biological sciences.
• Minimum of 2 years' MSL experience.
• Experience in Uro-Oncology, Urology or Oncology as an MSL.
• Strong communication, presentation, and scientific literacy.

Responsibilities

• Present information to HCPs and decision makers with accurate, unbiased answers about bladder cancer.
• Establish scientific relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers.
• Provide study support from protocol and budget development to IIT/Phase IV submission and completion.
• Deliver ongoing scientific support and training for sales and CAMs.
• Report adverse events to appropriate personnel.
• Keep up to date with developments in the therapeutic area.
• Report competitive activities and potential product impact.
• Develop and deliver scientific/educational programs for managed care and related organizations
• Assist Medical Affairs and agency personnel in presentations and slide kits
• Participate in advisory boards, speaker trainings, and meetings as required
• Support medical education funding requests
• Attend conferences staffing medical information booths and gather competitive intelligence
