Job summary

Visiting Angels of Main Line is seeking caregivers in Havertown and surrounding Delaware County. The role focuses on helping seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home with reliable, compassionate care.

We offer full-time and part-time shifts across day, evening, overnight and weekends. Caregivers provide companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and daily activities while maintaining clear communication with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• At least 18 years old.
• 2+ years caregiving or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to meet TB clearance requirements.
• Vaccination proof required (all applicants).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.
• Assist with personal care and daily routines.
• Bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Light housekeeping and errands.
• Grocery shopping and other daily tasks.
• Keep families and office informed about care.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MAY INCLUDE

• Providing companionship and meaningful interaction

• Keeping families and our office informed

WE'RE LOOKING FOR CAREGIVERS WHO:

• Are dependable and take their commitments seriously
• Are patient, respectful, and compassionate
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Are at least 18 years old
• Have 2+ years of caregiving or related experience preferred
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Are comfortable assisting clients with errands
• Can meet required TB clearance requirements

Please note: Caregivers do not transport clients in their personal vehicles.

COMPENSATION

$15–$18/hour to start

Pay varies based on experience, qualifications, and case type. Additional earning opportunities may be available for select shifts and cases.
