Avid Health at Home is hiring for PRN PCA/HHA or CNA roles in Broadhead, KY or Mt. Vernon, KY. Positions include part-time, full-time, and PRN with competitive benefits and weekly pay. In-person work in Manchester/Broadhead area, flexible schedules, and ongoing training are provided.

Responsibilities include medication help, mobility support, personal care, meal planning, light housekeeping, and companionship. Prior experience and a compassionate, patient-focused attitude are essential.

Responsabilidades

We are hiring multiple candidates for a PRN PCA /HHA or CNA position located in Broadhead, KY or Mt. Vernon, KY.
JobResponsibilities:

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

SRNA License (Preferred)
Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Licensure/Certification: Current certification/registration with the Board of Nursing
2. Current PCA certification.
3. Be in compliance with all existing regulations and company policies.
4. CPR preferred and may be required for some clients.
5. Must meet transportation, language, and cultural requirements specific to branch needs.
6. PCAs are required to possess a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, ability to read, write and carry out directions and maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
7. Other Hours of Work: Varies on a case-by-case basis, variable hour employee.

Additional Requirements: Bi-lingual – English/Spanish a plus.
