Job summary

Vinsys Information Technology Inc. seeks an experienced ServiceNow Nuvolo Developer to support a federal client’s ServiceNow platform and Nuvolo EAM implementation. You will design, develop, configure, integrate, and maintain Nuvolo solutions across facilities management, asset lifecycle, and enterprise operations.

Hybrid/On-site in Gaithersburg, MD with potential travel to NIST locations. Must be a U.S. citizen for government work and support secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Nuvolo applications within ServiceNow.
• Configure portals, forms, views, and UI with HTML/CSS.
• Build REST/SOAP integrations between Nuvolo/ServiceNow and external systems.
• Configure workflows, incident mgmt, facilities modules.
• Support asset management, PM, inventory, and facilities operations.
• Data migration using Import Sets and ETL.
• Configure ACLs and access controls.
• Develop automation flows for maintenance scheduling.
• Testing, debugging, and production support.
• Prepare documentation and status updates.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Nuvolo Developer to support a federal client’s ServiceNow platform and Nuvolo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) implementation. The selected candidate will work with the ServiceNow Platform team to design, develop, configure, integrate, and maintain Nuvolo solutions supporting facilities management, asset lifecycle management, workflow automation, and enterprise operations.

Location: Gaithersburg, MD (Hybrid/On-site as required)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Nuvolo applications within the ServiceNow platform.
• Create and enhance ServiceNow components using:
• JavaScript
• GlideScript
• Business Rules
• Client Scripts

• Design and configure ServiceNow portals, forms, views, and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Service Portal technologies.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP integrations between Nuvolo/ServiceNow and external enterprise systems.
• Configure workflows, service catalog items, incident management processes, and facilities management modules.
• Support asset management, preventive maintenance, work management, inventory management, and facilities operations functionality.
• Develop data migration solutions using:
• ServiceNow Import Sets
• ETL processes
• Data transformation workflows
• Configure security and access controls, including:
• ACLs
• User criteria
• Data separation models
• Assignment/routing rules
• Build automation flows supporting maintenance scheduling, inventory processes, and operational workflows.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support activities.
• Support ServiceNow platform upgrades and Nuvolo application upgrades.
• Develop reports, dashboards, operational metrics, and performance analytics.
• Prepare technical documentation and monthly status updates.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow application development and implementation.
• Hands-on experience implementing or configuring the Nuvolo platform.
• Strong proficiency with:
• JavaScript

• CSS
• ServiceNow development framework
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with ServiceNow data migration, Import Sets, and transformation processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex ServiceNow application issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
• Experience supporting Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Facilities Management, or ERP-related ServiceNow solutions.

Security Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required NIST facility access credentials.
• Experience supporting government or regulated environments preferred.

Work Environment

• Primary work location: NIST campus, Gaithersburg, MD.
• Occasional travel to NIST Boulder, CO may be required.
• Work schedule generally aligns with standard business hours, with occasional after-hours support for maintenance windows or production issues.
