Preferred Care at Home of Brevard is seeking qualified CNAs to join our team serving Titusville, Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, and Merritt Island. We offer 12-hour daytime and overnight shifts, flexible start dates, and a competitive pay structure with weekly pay via direct deposit.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, taking vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort and dignity. Requirements include state-approved CNA certification, CPR, and ability to work

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course.
• 75 hour HHA certification.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Help clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Take vital signs and monitor health status.
• Identify injuries or health concerns and report to caregivers and family.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from care teams.
• Assist with bedpan use and patient transfers.
• Maintain patient cleanliness and sanitize areas.
• Keep up-to-date with CNA training and procedures.

We have 12 hour daytime/overnight shifts for cases. We also have new cases becoming available every week. Openings have a flexible start date and a competitive pay structure.

The openings we are looking for includes (subject to your specific licensure but may include): Compassionate and Experienced Individuals, CNA’s (Certified Nursing Assistants), CHHA (Certified Home Health Aides), HHA (Home Health Aides)

The openings include positions for live-in and overnight assignments, day shifts, evening shifts, night shifts, part-time, and full-time opportunities.

Certified Nursing Assistants, or CNAs, assist nurses and other medical staff by providing direct personal care for patients. This entry-level position is best suited for someone who genuinely cares for others’ well-being.

Certified Nursing Assistant Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Pay beginning at $17 - $19 per hour

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Help clients with daily activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, serving meals, helping clients eat, turning clients and ambulating clients
• Take vital signs
• Examine clients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Provide and empty bedpans
• Lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.
• Clean and sanitize client areas, including changing bed sheets
• Stay up-to-date on CNA training, policies and procedures

Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
• 75 hour HHA certification
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
• Ability to think and work independently and with direction
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Good communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personality
• Up-to-date identification
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent personal hygiene
