Job summary

AcutePet Urgent Care is seeking an experienced, collaborative veterinarian to serve as the Managing Veterinarian of our Beavercreek hospital—our very first location. You’ll lead a capable medical team, partner with a Practice Manager, and mentor staff while maintaining patient care in urgent settings.

You’ll work closely with AcutePet’s leadership to strengthen clinical standards, staff development, and hospital workflows, shaping the next chapter of our growth in a people‑first culture.

Qualifications

• Looking for a veterinarian who is confident in medicine and grounded in leadership.
• Interested in veterinarians who mentor, build culture, and lead clinically.
• Leadership experience is welcomed; mentorship and teamwork are valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hospital’s people, culture, and daily operations in Beavercreek.
• Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to veterinarians and medical staff.
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer on medical quality, standards, training, and development.
• Create consistency in workflows, communication, and patient/client experience.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and wellbeing of veterinary team members.
• Practice high‑quality urgent care medicine alongside the team.
• Encourage thoughtful decision‑making and a sustainable approach to veterinary medicine.
