Job summary

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a full-time Veterinarian for our brand-new Urgent Care Clinic at the Papago Park Campus. This role features a unique swing shift schedule and a chance to make a tangible impact during critical hours, delivering high-quality care to pets in urgent need.

Responsibilities include exams, diagnostics, therapeutics, and detailed client communication, with emphasis on rapid, compassionate decision-making and meticulous medical records.

Qualifications

• Excellent client communication and ability to work within a fast-paced urgent care.
• Strong teamwork to coordinate care in a clinic setting.
• Must be clinically proficient with a broad veterinary skillset.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide clear instructions and discharge guidance to owners.
• Maintain accurate medical records meeting Board standards.
• Conduct minor surgical procedures as needed and multitask effectively.
