Job summary

UrgentVet, Inc. is seeking a licensed DVM to provide urgent care in our Lake Mary location near Orlando, FL.

The role focuses on after-hours care for canine and feline patients without wellness visits, handling a varied caseload with capabilities for wound management, infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Clinicians work with a paperless system, cloud EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college is required.
• Active license to practice in the employing state or eligibility to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate with clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the practice and Orlando community
• Encourage the growth of support staff through internal LevelUp training
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours
