The candidate will treat a diverse caseload, collaborate with a supportive team, and help shape the expansion of urgent care services. Licensing in Illinois or eligibility is required; prior emergency experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree required and licensed or eligible to obtain Illinois veterinary license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional and courteous presentation.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; lifting with assistance for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals in urgent care settings.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise owners on prevention and treatment options; provide emergency care and surgery as needed.
• Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and regulations.
• Contribute to growth of new urgent care services within the practice.
