Job summary

Urgent Care by Ethos - Nashua seeks a DVM to join a fast-paced urgent care team in Nashua, NH. Flexible options for full-time (3 12’s per week) or part-time are available as the practice delivers high-quality veterinary urgent care.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of urgent canine and feline cases, collaborating with clinicians to ensure compassionate owner communication and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience. Internship or background in emergency medicine are a plus!
• Confidence managing urgent care cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality urgent care medicine to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent medical conditions, such as wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
• Support and provide an evidence-based clinical approach.
