An exciting opportunity is available for an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join a modern, purpose-built small animal clinic in Spokane, Washington.
This role offers the pace and clinical variety of urgent care without the overnight schedule typically associated with emergency medicine.
The clinic is designed to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency care, treating urgent, non-life-threatening cases during extended hours. This provides an interesting and varied caseload while allowing more serious emergencies to be referred appropriately.
The hospital provides a modern environment designed specifically around urgent care medicine, giving veterinarians the resources and support needed to efficiently assess, diagnose and treat same-day cases.
The caseload can include gastrointestinal concerns, minor wounds and lacerations, limping and musculoskeletal injuries, ear and skin conditions, eye problems, urinary concerns, minor trauma and other illnesses or injuries that require prompt veterinary attention.
This could be particularly attractive to a GP veterinarian looking to move into urgent care or an experienced urgent care/ER veterinarian wanting a more sustainable schedule.
