UrgentVet in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a DVM for urgent care shifts to cover after-hours cases with a focus on wound management, GI upset, and common urgent concerns. This single-doctor, paperless clinic uses cloud EMR, digital x-rays, and IDEXX in-house labs to deliver efficient care.

We offer flexible swing/second shift schedules, a strong clinical and support team, and a no-wellness-only model. Compensation is competitive with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for mentorship

Qualifications

• Active license to practice in the state or ability to obtain license.
• Graduated from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college.
• Successful completion of ECFVG or PAVE is acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Grow relationships within the practice and the Pittsburgh community.
• Support staff development via internal LevelUp training.
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
