Job summary

Sploot in Illinois is hiring an Urgent Care and General Practice veterinarian for a 3-4 day week with 10–12 hour shifts and no overnights.

You’ll work with a fully staffed nursing team, long appointment times, and strong triage so you can focus on patient care. The position includes a competitive ProSal salary, sign-on and relocation bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Illinois-licensed DVM or eligible to practice in Illinois.
• At least 1 year of veterinary experience preferred.
• Bonus: surgeries and dentals experience.
• Availability for 3–4 days per week with 10–12 hour shifts, no overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care and general practice services to patients.
• Collaborate with a fully staffed nursing team to deliver high-quality medicine.
• Walk into the exam room prepared with strong pre-visit triage.
• Maintain patients' health and client communication.
