Ideal candidates hold an active California medical license and have board eligibility or certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, with telemedicine

Qualifications

• California medical license is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is required or eligible.
• Experience with telemedicine and urgent care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual evaluations for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
• Assess symptoms and medical histories via telemedicine tools.
• Develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate and lawful.
• Identify cases needing in-person or emergency care and direct accordingly.

Use sound clinical judgment to identify conditions requiring in-person or emergency care. Maintain accurate electronic health records and communicate compassionately with patients and the care team. Responsibilities
