Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking an Urgent Care Tech to support the urgent care team at our Winchester location. Working under a registered nurse, you will perform procedures to deliver emergency care, ensuring patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced setting.

You will contribute to patient experiences by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes, while upholding our mission to care, heal and excel in service to the community.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or nursing student with clinical rotation or 1 year clinical care experience.
• EMT or ER clinical experience is preferred.
• Preferred: Phlebotomy or other patient-care certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures to provide emergency care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Contribute to patient experience by collaborative team approach in the emergency setting.

Winchester Hospital, a proud member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has an Urgent Care Tech opening on our Urgent Care team. Our Wilmington location provides urgent care to all patient populations with a variety of medical conditions.

Working under the direction of a registered nurse, this position contributes to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by performing procedures to provide emergency care, for the comfort and safety of patients. This clinical staff position will have an impact on the patient’s experience by facilitating optimal outcomes utilizing a collaborative team approach to patient care in the emergency care setting.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Required

Certified Nursing Assistant, nursing student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation or one year clinical care experience or equivalent education, one year clinical care experience, EMT or emergency room clinical experience

Preferred

• High school diploma/equivalent strongly preferred
• Emergency patient care experience
• EKG experience
• Phlebotomy experience

Pay Range

$19.50 - $26.24

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
