Job summary

ConvenientMD in Saco, Maine, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Urgent Care. The role focuses on triage, high-quality patient care, and teamwork within a fast-paced setting. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with opportunities for growth and a supportive work environment.

Required ADN/BSN, state RN license, and BLS. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, ECGs, CPR, immunizations, and patient communication throughout the care journey.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• State-licensed Registered Nurse with IV placement experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Compassionate, patient-focused with effective communication.
• Proactive, confident communicator and able to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients, take vital signs, document history and identify urgent needs.
• Assist exams, prep equipment, and support providers during testing.
• Perform phlebotomy, airway support, oxygen therapy, and airway management.
• Apply ECGs, assist CPR, and use AED for emergencies as needed.
• Administer immunizations/medications per protocol and process prescriptions.
• Handle follow-up calls, explain tests/results, and adjust care plans.
• Collaborate with clinical team and train new staff.
