Job summary

MANA Urgent Care in Fayetteville, Arkansas is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to work under physician supervision, providing direct and indirect patient care and maintaining accurate charting in our busy urgent care clinics.

You will assist physicians during procedures and exams, help revise daily schedules, obtain charts and lab tests, coordinate EMR entries, and communicate prescriptions with pharmacies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certified, EMR experience preferred.
• Prior urgent care experience preferred.
• 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in procedures, revise schedules, obtain charts, and locate lab tests and X-ray reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely chart/EMR entries.
• Contact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriately.
• Notify outside facilities or personnel of physician's orders.
