Job summary

ConvenientMD in the Northeast region seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our urgent care team. You will perform radiologic procedures, operate imaging equipment, and document results in EMR/PACS, while ensuring safety per ALARA principles.

You will engage in patient triage, labs, screenings, and support duties across RT and Medical Assistant tasks, upholding HIPAA and delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • State licensed with ARRT.
  • BLS certification required (we do not accept CPR/ACLS online).
  • 1–2 years radiology and patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and perform radiologic procedures per ARRT protocols.
  • Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment with ALARA.
  • Position patients and document studies in EMR and PACS.
  • Collaborate with radiologists for study interpretation.
  • Switch between RT and Medical Assistant duties as needed.
  • Conduct triage, vital signs, med history and exams.
  • Provide lab testing, screenings, and point‑of‑care diagnostics.
  • Maintain clean, sterile exam rooms and instruments.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care and HIPAA compliance.
  • Manage radiology supply inventory and submit orders.
  • Ensure equipment operational through preventive maintenance.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance studies.
  • Communicate effectively with team and external providers.
