Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the Orthopedic Surgery team. Under provider supervision, you will deliver high-quality X-rays with minimized exposure, conduct patient assessments, and assist in urgent care/occupational health settings.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and other regulations while participating in training and continuous improvement. The role requires an AMA-approved radiologic technology education, ARRT eligibility within 6 months,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiologic technology from AMA approved program.
• ARRT registry eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum one year hospital radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• Experience in urgent care or occupational health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures with appropriate exposure and radiation safety.
• Position patients and operate equipment to obtain quality images.
• Greet patients, take histories, and prepare for examinations.
• Document patient information in medical records per guidelines.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Maintain sterile, clean, and safe exam areas.
• Complete EMR tasks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to OSHA, CLIA, Joint Commission, FMCSA, and HIPAA requirements.
