Progress Foundation in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse at Dore Urgent Care Center to deliver psychiatric and medical services. The RN will assess, monitor, and refer clients, working closely with staff to maintain a safe, non-institutional environment.

The role requires a nursing degree with a psychiatric focus or 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience, plus a valid California RN license.

Formación

• Nursing degree with psychiatric specialty or 2 years psychiatric nursing experience.
• Current California RN license for direct client contact in licensed programs.
• Effective written and verbal communication with medical and mental health staff.
• Ability to engage distressed clients with respectful, evidence-based care.
• Proven emotional stability, good judgment and teamwork.
• Proficient computer skills for charting and information systems.
• Valid CA driver's license and insurability under agency policies.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, navigate stairs, perform CPR and First Aid.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical services, including psychiatric, medical and pharmacy support as part of UCC.
• Conduct initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and referrals at discharge.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team under program supervision to meet diverse needs.
• Ensure care aligns with SR values, laws, and agency policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of charts and records, ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a non-institutional, safe environment.
