Job summary

Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking a qualified physician to join its Supplemental (PRN) Urgent Care program in Bedford and Avon, Indiana. You will provide care to diverse patient populations in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with on-site lab and radiology services.

The role emphasizes urgent care and occupational medicine in a flexible schedule, with a minimum of three shifts per month and one weekend shift per month, enabling work-life balance within IU Health’s

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• Emergency medicine and/or urgent care experience preferred, but not required.
• Occupational medicine experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Practice a combination of urgent care and occupational medicine.
• Partner with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.
• Minimum of three shifts per month.
• One weekend shift per month required.
• Flexible scheduling with opportunities for additional shifts based on availability and departmental needs.
• Holiday coverage rotation as needed.
