Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is looking for a qualified Physician in Gresham, Oregon. In this role, you will independently perform a wide variety of clinical services, including the treatment of acute conditions, and will be responsible for diagnostic tests and patient care. Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Family or Emergency Medicine, with 2-5 years of post-residency experience, particularly in urgent care settings. Contribute to a collaborative team to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required.
• Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting required.
• Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred.

Job Summary

Physicians independently perform a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu‑like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections and are also responsible for selecting and utilizing appropriate diagnostics and/or therapeutic procedures for patients.

Job Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited medical school required

Work Experience

• 2-5 years of post‑residency clinical experience required
• Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting required
• Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by an ABMS member board or AOA specialty board in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Active state medical licensure

Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting
• Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Preferred

• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
• Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Essential Functions

• Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
• Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care
• Supervising GoHealth PA/NPs remotely when cases are presented to you for supervision
• Act as a Collaborating Physician for up to four PA/NPs in the credentialing process, including signoff of the PA/NPs delineation of privileges (DOP)
• Each provider will work an anticipated eight (8) or twelve (12) hours per shift
• All other duties as assigned
