Job summary

UCSF Health Medical Foundation GoHealth Urgent Care in San Francisco seeks a physician with urgent care or emergency medicine experience to treat both adult and pediatric patients. Schedule options include fulltime, part-time or PRN, with a broad range of clinical responsibilities and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Providers will work in state-of-the-art centers with access to imaging, labs, and an integrated EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• One year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting preferred.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages).
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of clinical services for acute episodic conditions.
• Assess to recognize more serious conditions and direct to the emergency room when necessary.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience within GoHealth Urgent Care in collaboration with UCSF Health.

We have an opportunity for a Physician with urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our welcoming and diverse community of San Francisco providers. We are considering fulltime, part-time or per diem (PRN) schedules. You would provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. It is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary while going above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.
