Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in St. Louis, MO is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license.
• 2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Experience treating patients across all age groups.
• Proficiency in suturing and splinting; reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with acute conditions.
• Take medical histories and order diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and prescribe medications.
• Perform minor procedures and vaccinations.
• Document patient progress and coordinate follow-up care.
• Supervise and collaborate with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support.
• Work 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced setting.
